My Work

Currently:

I own and manage BarunSinghDesign, a small firm based in Boston, MA that offers web development solutions and consulting to a variety of customers. Learn More »

I am also actively working on a number of projects which may blossom into their own startup companies. These projects are all connected with internet technologies, and most are joint ventures with creative and intelligent friends. They vary in size and impact — some are purely web applications, while others utilize the power of the web to connect with physical hardware. All of them are useful, exciting, challenging, and fun to work on. As these projects come closer to fruition, I will provide more details.

Previously:

To get a good idea of the work I have done in the past, you may wish to view my resumé.

I recently completed my graduate studies working in the field of computer vision at MIT, earning my second Masters degree along with the higher degree of Engineer in Computer Science. You may learn more about my academic career (both at MIT and before), or download my thesis:

Much of my efforts in the past have been directed towards a variety of leadership activities within MIT and the broader community. These include acting as president of one of the most active (if not the most active) graduate student councils in the country and helping select and orient MIT’s 16th president. You can find out more about all of these roles and activities, along with copies of a number of related articles and speeches that I have published.
